About the brand

Mario Badescu was a Romanian-born dermatologist with a bold vision. Being both a chemist and a cosmetologist, Mario had a very unique perspective about skin care, appreciating both the chemical nature and complexities of the skin, as well as the desire and innate satisfaction and confidence healthy, clean, radiant skin can give a person. Mario opened his salon in Manhattan, New York City in 1967, and began to develop his signature skin care product line.     Deze vind ik heeeeel lekker ruiken, en dat was voor mij de beste reden om het te gebruiken, omdat het niet voedend genoeg is voor een drogere huid. Je huid voelt wel heel fris aan met deze. De geur kan ik niet goed beschrijven, doet me denken aan een bepaalde soort zonnebrandmerk dat ze in de V.S. hebben (klinkt minder lekker dan dat het ruikt). Was er maar eenzelfde moisturizer maar dan in creme-vorm! (jammer dat de Mario Badescu (zwaardere) cremes niet in dit soort potjes komen, want deze zijn zo fijn en natuurlijk veel hygienischer). Lichte creme, dus gebruik dit vooral als je een vettere of normale huid hebt die geen extra vocht nodig heeft.

    This product gets 4/5 for the amazing smell! I don't know what the smell exactly is, but I love it. It wasn't hydrating enough for me though, with my combination skin - because it is oil-free and lightweight. I would buy this again for in the summer, under a sunscreen or something.

    Hele fijne lichte creme die goed intrekt. Ik heb een gecombineerde huid en op sommige plaatsten wordt mij huid wel wat vet in de loop van de dag. Ook laat de crème een glimmend laagje achter, geen vet laagje, maar meer een glans. Dus moet wel poederen als ik mijn huid mat wil hebben. Zeker een aanrader.

    Fijne creme. Trekt goed in, voedt en laat geen vet laagje achter! Heerlijk in combinatie met de reiniging van MB :)

    Een goede, lichte creme. Mijn huid neemt het meteen op en laat geen vette laag achter. Voor de wintermaanden heeft mijn huid toch net iets meer nodig. Voor de zomermaanden is de creme perfect.

    Ik denk dat ik mijn HG routine heb gevonden!! Ik heb een gevoelige gecombineerde huid (richting droge huid), met last van (hormonale) acne uitbraken, ook reageer ik snel allergisch op producten. Voor mij erg lastig dus om een goeie (dag)creme te vinden. Ik gebruik deze moisturizer nu zo'n 2 week samen met de glycolic foam cleanser, de seaweed toner (die had ik eerder besteld), en m'n huid is nu al een hele tijd rustig en wordt steeds gladder! Dat is voor mij echt tijden geleden! Deze moisturizer voedt m'n huid genoeg en hydrateert erg goed, maar maakt niet vettig. Daarnaast merk ik al verschil in m'n huidstructuur. M'n make up blijft tot mijn verbazing goed zitten! 's Avonds gebruik ik het met een serum eronder(nu een sample van Elemental herbology). Ik ben er echt zooo blij ermee! En inderdaad, 1 vingertopje voor overdag is voldoende, s'avonds gebruik ik 't royaler, en laat ik het lekker intrekken. Soort mini-facial dus ;). De samples hebben me ook weer nieuwsgierig gemaakt (e.h. en first aid bevallen erg goed) ben erg blij met deze service van Cosmania, want zo leer je ook weer goeie producten kennen!

    Erg lekkere dagcreme die goed intrekt en geen vet laagje achterlaat. Mijn huid is de hele dag goed gehydrateerd!

    Erg fijne dagcrème die niet te vettig is voor mijn gecombineerde huid. Ondanks het winterse weer wordt mijn huid niet te droog en trekkerig. Matterend effect gedurende de hele dag! Top product dus!!
