Escentric Molecules owes its existence to an odor molecule that does not exist in nature. Iso E Super was created in 1973 in a laboratory and used in relatively low concentrations in many fragrances for both men and women. Perfumers appreciate it for its velvety, cocooning and enveloping effect. When perfumer Geza Schoen Iso E Super first smelled separately, something clicked. 'I realized that the common denominator in all the scents I liked was that they contained a large dose of it. Iso E Super is a highly unusual fragrance note. You can never get enough of it. One pinch and you want the whole bottle.' Schoen started experimenting and created fragrances with Iso E Super in unprecedented proportions.
